Football Analyst Chris Sutton Battles Artist Olly Murs in Top Flight Predictions
Arsenal's ten-match winning streak was ended by the Black Cats before the international hiatus, however will the Premier League frontrunners bounce back against local foes Spurs this weekend?
"{I believe like Arsenal are miles ahead of Tottenham currently but Spurs boss Thomas Frank will have a strategy for this match," remarked soccer expert Chris Sutton.
"Frank will attempt to nullify Arsenal, who have not always been at their scintillating finest this campaign - but Mikel Arteta's side usually still find a way to win."
The analyst is forecasting results for all 380 Premier League games this season, against artificial intelligence, fans and a variety of special visitors.
In week 12, he takes on singer Olly Murs, who is a United fan.
The singer's latest album, the new release, is out on Friday.
Soccer and Parenting Experiences
Murs is a skilled soccer player as well as a successful artist and has been a featured player of several charity football matches down the years - but he is not planning a professional comeback as a player.
"{I recently played in a benefit match the other evening for a friend of mine," he said. "My side was trailing 3-1 when I was substituted in the 60th minute, and they proceeded to win 4-3, so you can interpret that what you will!
"I continue to love football, but I hurt my joint a few years ago and it even now hasn't fully recovered. I hope I could play more but the unpredictability of the sport means it's too risky for me in my profession to do it properly again.
"Plus I am 41 now, and we are not everyone is Cristiano Ronaldo, are we!? No, I am very happy not playing football and I am preparing for the time that my child or boy chooses to play instead."
Murs and his spouse his partner have two children, Madison and their son, and he is prepared to follow in his father's footsteps by taking on the role of their manager.
"I won't force football on our children but I've already told Amelia that if they do get the passion for it then I will have to go and get my coaching badges - and I will probably be managing their weekend football team," he added.
"I observed my nephews play a lot, and I truly got into it, and I obviously owned a soccer team for a while too.
"My dad coached with us when I was a child, which is probably where I get it from. He managed our side for several seasons and had great fun with it. That might be the next step for me as well, and I am looking forward to it!"
Premier League Forecasts
Saturday, 22 November
- Turf Moor, 12:30 GMT
The Blues might have to be patient for Cole Palmer's return from injury but their attack is now stronger with Pedro and Delap both back fit.
In my opinion this game will be quite tight, however. Burnley are disciplined and their only home defeats so far have been against Liverpool and the Gunners.
This smells of a one-all draw to me, but I am in fact going to choose Chelsea to edge it for what would be their third league win in a row.
Sutton's prediction: 1-2
The singer's prediction: Chelsea will be superior. 1-3
Artificial intelligence's outlook: 0-2
- Vitality Stadium, 15:00 GMT
Bournemouth have been defeated in their previous couple matches - although both of them were away - but they got absolutely spanked by Villa last time out which shocked me.
In contrast, the Hammers won two in a row before the international break and, although both of those fixtures were at home, they do look competitive again.
West Ham's sole on the road victory this campaign came at Forest in the summer, when West Ham manager Nuno Espirito Santo was still Forest coach.
So, what on earth do I go with here - will it be West Ham extending their run under Nuno, or Bournemouth bouncing back?
I will go with Bournemouth, because I think what occurred against Aston Villa was a anomaly.
Sutton's forecast: 2-0
The guest's prediction: The home team are doing well but the visitors have improved under their boss. 2-2
The algorithm's prediction: 1-1
- Amex Stadium, 15:00 GMT
The Bees were considered one of the favourites for relegation before the season started, but they have impressed a several observers under Keith Andrews and are in good form with three in their last four games.
A family member advised me to get Brentford forward Thiago in my Fantasy Football squad a few weeks ago and, unfortunately, I didn't listen.
Thiago will probably find the net again on the weekend but I am still not going to select him or support the away side at Amex Stadium.
The Bees have not had much fortune on the road this season, and Brighton are always decent at their stadium. The visitors will try to attack on the counter-attack but I feel the home manager's side carry much more of a danger.
The analyst's prediction: 2-1
The singer's view: This could be a match where you expect there is going to be a lot of goals but it in reality proves to be rather tight. 1-1
The computer's prediction: 2-1
- Craven Cottage, 15:00 GMT
This is a massive fixture for Fulham, who have lost five of their last six matches.
Fulham have got lots of talent in their team but it still feels like they could be sucked into a drop zone battle.
Regarding the Black Cats, well they are the surprise package of the Premier League campaign so far.
Their display in the two-all tie with the Gunners last time out was excellent. We have not witnessed anyone else rough up the North London side like that this season, and Sunderland were fully competitive for them.
The logical choice to do to support the Black Cats here, because they are obviously capable of disrupting the hosts up too and, the previous occasion they were in west London, they defeated the Blues at the close of last month.
But I am not do that. Rather, I really need to continue going against Sunderland with my forecasts. I am taking a lot of credit for their good results because they clearly enjoy to defy my predictions.
Looking at Fulham's home form, the sole team they have been defeated by is the league leaders. Marco Silva's team will be absolutely eager for a good result, so I am going to predict they will secure three much-needed points.
Sutton's forecast: 1-0
The guest's prediction: I'm aware Sunderland are performing strongly and additionally that the hosts are on a poor streak... but they have nonetheless been decent at Craven Cottage this campaign. 2-0
AI's outlook: 2-0

This is a tough fixture to call. Liverpool have suffered seven of their last ten matches in all competitions, but might they be one of the teams who profit from the {international break|
